We have stayed at the Peterborough Marina for the weekend. The thunderstorms that had been predicted for Sunday did not materialize...the weather has been warm and sunny!
The marina is on Little Lake and this was the view out our front windows. There was a rainbow in the fountain...and at night it is lit with coloured lights.
We arrived in time on Saturday to watch the Dragon Boat races on the lake. They lasted over 4 hours...such a great turn-out.
Kate just wanted to swim in the lake....and this is her first swim on a leash!!! Boy, she can't wait to get back home!!!
We had a wonderful meal at Hot Belly Mama's with Julie and Al.
Flowers are everywhere...Tomorrow, Monday, we will continue on the waterway...there are 8 locks in the next 12 miles!!!
