Another flat water day! We went off-shore all the way from Hurricane Pass, Dunnedin, to Big Pass, Sarasota. We covered 60 miles in 4 hours, and if we had gone "inside" in the Intracoastal Waterway, it would have taken about 8 hours! Jeff had told us that Big Pass, which shoals easily, had its buoys in different locations. The sunlight also helps boaters see the shoal areas which appear yellow and deep water areas which are dark blue.
We tied up in Jeff's canal, behind his "little house", and Kate beat us getting in the pool! It was so hot once we were out of the sea breeze. The kids came to see us...we had a lovely dinner on their deck overlooking Big Pass...it's good to be "home."
Been reading all along Bernadette, thanks for all the interesting things. So glad you are home with Jeff. Have a great time. Blessings, Love Jean
