On a Clear Day.....

While we were at Pebble Isle we had a fun visit with Jeanne and Ron on Odyssey who are from North Bay, ON and Bonita Springs, FL. We are hoping to see them down the way!!!

When we walked on the deck this morning, we noticed small circles of a clear jelly substance with green centres, all over the boat! No one at the marina had any idea what they are! Our boat was slimed by something....I spent a while picking them up and cleaning all the "dirt" on the sides of the flybridge. I think I need to write a book about "things that go poop in the night!"

We didn't leave this morning until 9:30...a late start for us...since we just had to wait for the homemade cinnamon rolls that Pebble Isle serves to the transients! They were delicious and worth the wait!

We planned on going about 75 miles to Swallow Bluff Island where we would anchor. It was such a clear, beautiful, sunny day…we were on the flybridge all the time. The river was deep from bank to bank which made navigation a breeze.

 Lovely foliage

Limestone bluffs

We saw many houses like this.....

We enjoyed happy hour with Jean and Ron on Latitude Adjustment anchored just ahead of us.
