New York Harbor

 When we awoke at 6 am, the fog completely hid the Verrazano Bridge. We left the anchorage when just the bottom half was visible, and the visibility improved as we approached it.

Lady Liberty is on the left...and the island of Manhattan, where I was born, rises out of the water! The building tops were in the fog for over 24 hours.

 Next Endeavour took pictures of us in front of the Statue of Liberty, and we took pics of their boat. Hope to get them soon.

 Ellis Island where my Italian grandparents entered the United States, around 1908.

 I don't remember the Staten Island Ferry being that big!!! We were rocking and rolling from all the boat traffic. Don't know how Capt. Scully ever had enough space to land his plane on the Hudson without hitting a boat!
